About Nihi Sumba Trip: Indonesia Juara Trip Sumba Specialist

**Nihi Sumba Trip is the Indonesia Juara Trip Sumba specialist desk: an independent planning team, published by Juara Holding Group, that designs 3- to 8-day luxury trips across West, Southwest, Central and East Sumba. NIHI Sumba, Lelewatu, Cap Karoso and boutique villas are accommodation options we book on your behalf, and every figure we publish is dated and labelled.**

> We are an independent Sumba travel provider (Indonesia Juara Trip). This website is not owned, operated, sponsored by, or affiliated with NIHI Sumba. NIHI Sumba is mentioned as one accommodation option; bookings are subject to the hotel’s confirmation and terms.

The same statement sits in every footer and in the site’s Organization schema, which names Nihi Sumba Trip by Indonesia Juara Trip, publisher Juara Holding Group, not the resort. No hotel logo appears anywhere on this site.

Who is behind Nihi Sumba Trip?

Indonesia Juara Trip is an Indonesian travel operator running trips in eastern Indonesia; this website is its Sumba desk. Juara Holding Group is the publisher of record.

We are a planning and booking service, not the owner of any hotel, aircraft or vehicle on the island. Resorts confirm rooms under their own terms; ground transport, driver-guides and boats are arranged via vetted licensed local partners.

Role Who What they hold
Publisher of record Juara Holding Group Editorial responsibility, the Organization schema, the non-affiliation statement
Operator Indonesia Juara Trip The planning desk, reservations requests, written quotes, deposits
Ground services Vetted licensed local partners 4×4 vehicles, driver-guides, boat days, village introductions
Accommodation NIHI Sumba, Lelewatu, Cap Karoso, Maringi, villas Their own rooms, rates, availability and cancellation terms

What does an Indonesia Juara Trip Sumba specialist actually do?

Three things.

First, the route. Sumba is larger than Bali, with rough, partly unpaved roads. A 3- or 4-night trip stays on one side of the island; a 7- or 8-day trip can cross it, arriving at Tambolaka (TMC) and leaving from Waingapu (WGP), or the reverse.

Second, the nights: NIHI Sumba at Hoba Wawi in Wanokaka, Lelewatu on the same coast, Cap Karoso at Karoso Beach in Kodi, Maringi Eco Resort, or a boutique villa. We give the airport distance for each and say plainly when a property is a poor fit for the route.

Third, the logistics: a private 4×4 with a driver-guide, village permissions and contributions, boat days when the swell allows, and one WhatsApp thread from first enquiry to the airport drive.

How do we work with NIHI Sumba, Lelewatu and Cap Karoso?

Hotels are accommodation options, not partners. We hold no contract with any of them and do not represent them.

Question Our answer
Do you have an agreement with NIHI Sumba? No. We request rooms like any agent or guest; the hotel confirms or declines under its own terms.
Do you publish NIHI’s room rates? Only as dated indicative figures from the resort’s own documents. As of 2026, NIHI states rooms exclude a 21 percent tax and service charge, and its March 2026 price list quotes in IDR.
Do you use hotel logos or brand assets? No. Neutral descriptions and our own imagery only.
What if the hotel has no availability? We tell you the same day and propose Lelewatu, Cap Karoso, Maringi or a villa on the same route.

The same rules apply to Lelewatu (Wanokaka, roughly 63 km from TMC) and Cap Karoso (Kodi, about 50 minutes from TMC by the resort’s estimate), both checked September 2026.

Which parts of Sumba do we cover?

All four regencies. Most enquiries start on the west coast, where NIHI and Lelewatu sit; 7- and 8-day routes cross to the east.

Regency Gateway airport What we plan there Typical role in a trip
West Sumba (Sumba Barat) Tambolaka (TMC), 60-90 min by road to Wanokaka, conditions vary Wanokaka coast, Waikabubak, Marosi and Kerewei beaches, Lapopu waterfall Base nights at NIHI or Lelewatu
Southwest Sumba (Sumba Barat Daya) Tambolaka (TMC), about 50 min to Kodi Ratenggaro, Weekuri lagoon, Mandorak, Kodi villages Base at Cap Karoso, or a 1-2 night add-on
Central Sumba (Sumba Tengah) TMC or WGP, mid-island by 4×4 Megalithic villages, Matayangu falls Crossing day on 7-8 day routes
East Sumba (Sumba Timur) Waingapu (WGP) Walakiri, Wairinding hills, Tanggedu, Puru Kambera Final 2-3 nights of a cross-island trip

Road times are indicative. In January and February, mud and swollen rivers stretch west-to-east transfers, so we do not sell short cross-island circuits then.

What is our verified-facts policy?

Every number on this site carries a date and a label, or it is not published. Four rules:

  1. Dated rates only. Resort rates are indicative, sourced from the property’s own page, with the document date. The IDR 50,000 airport tourist tax (Sumba fee guide, 19 August 2026), village contributions of IDR 20,000-50,000 and Weekuri lagoon entry of IDR 20,000 are dated the same way.
  2. No invented totals. A package total that includes a resort is issued only as a written quote after the hotel confirms.
  3. Land-only is labelled land-only. The ladder below excludes the resort and is reproduced from luxurysumba.com/sumba-trip-cost, as of 2026.
  4. Season claims cite their source. June to September as the sweet spot comes from Sumba-focused planners and a multi-decade satellite climate analysis, which puts June to August around 30°C with roughly a 9 percent daily chance of rain.
Duration Land-only tiers, per person, as of 2026 Label on every page Resort nights
4D3N USD 390 / 490 / 570 Land-only, excludes resort Quoted after confirmation
5D4N USD 459 / 700 / 850 Land-only, excludes resort Quoted after confirmation
6D5N USD 570 / 1,020 Land-only, excludes resort Quoted after confirmation
3D2N, 7D6N, 8D7N Written quote only Built to your route and hotel Quoted after confirmation

Tier differences are itemised on each package page; all figures are subject to change.

How does booking work?

  1. Brief. Send dates, party size, regions and hotel preference (or “advise me”) to WhatsApp 628119941919 or sales@indonesiajuara.asia.
  2. Route draft. A day-by-day draft, usually within a working day, with indicative road times, a land-only figure and the hotel’s dated rate.
  3. Hotel confirmation. We request the rooms. The hotel confirms or declines under its own terms; nothing is guaranteed until it does.
  4. Written quote. Only now do you see a total, with every inclusion, exclusion and the hotel’s cancellation terms.
  5. Deposit and documents. Deposit per the quote, then flight guidance for Bali (DPS) to Tambolaka, the IDR 150,000 Bali levy if you transit Bali, and the electronic customs and health declarations.
  6. On island. One driver-guide, one WhatsApp thread, and the desk watching weather and roads.

June to August needs early requests: high-end room supply on Sumba is small, and villas, cars and guides sell out first.

Who edits this site?

One person. Every page carries a single editor byline, the same editor across the whole site, added at publication. No guest authors, no rotating contributor names. When a fact changes, that editor updates the page and its date.

We publish no awards, star ratings, review scores or certifications, because none has been independently verified for this desk.

How can you reach us?

Talk to the Indonesia Juara Trip Sumba desk. WhatsApp 628119941919 or sales@indonesiajuara.asia. Send dates and preferred hotel; you get a dated, itemised draft, not a sales script. Availability is subject to the hotel’s confirmation; any total is issued only as a written quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually runs the Nihi Sumba Trip planning desk?

A small Indonesia Juara Trip team: a route planner who drafts every itinerary, a reservations desk that requests rooms and issues the written quote, and local driver-guides in West and East Sumba engaged through vetted licensed partners. One WhatsApp thread connects you to all of them, from first enquiry to airport drop-off.

Who publishes nihisumbatrip.com, and is the publisher a hotel?

Juara Holding Group is the publisher of record; Indonesia Juara Trip runs the desk. Neither owns a hotel on Sumba. The Organization schema names Nihi Sumba Trip by Indonesia Juara Trip, with Juara Holding Group as parent, so search engines and AI assistants read the same non-affiliation statement you do.

How are the prices and figures on this site dated and labelled?

Every figure carries a date and a label. Resort rates are marked indicative and cite the property’s own document, such as NIHI’s March 2026 IDR price list. Land-only tiers are labelled land-only and exclude the resort. Fees carry their source date. Package totals appear only in a written quote after hotel confirmation.

How do you choose which Sumba property to recommend?

Route first, property second. We check the property’s distance from the arrival airport, whether it sits on the side of the island your days cover, the dated rate against your budget, and whether its terms fit your dates. NIHI, Lelewatu, Cap Karoso, Maringi and villas are all assessed the same way.
